Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 Station (or Pearson Station in Union Pearson Express marketing) is a railway and people-mover station at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the eastern terminus of the inter-terminal LINK Train, and the western terminus of the Union Pearson Express. This station consists of two connected island platforms serving four tracks. The outermost pair of tracks runs the full length of the station and serves the LINK Train (on the southern platform), while the innermost pair terminates halfway along the station and serves the Union Pearson Express (on the northern platform). All four tracks are isolated from the elements, allowing for a fully enclosed and climate-controlled waiting area for passengers. Access to the trains is granted via sliding doors. ==History== Terminal 1 Station opened in July 2006 as a terminus of the three-station LINK Train. The structure included support pillars allowing the station to be expanded to serve a future airport rail link to downtown Toronto. In July 2010, Metrolinx, Toronto's regional transport agency, announced it would create a mainline rail connection to Pearson Airport from Toronto Union Station. Construction began in spring 2012, and the line opened on 6 June 2015 in time for the 2015 Pan American Games.〔 〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 Station」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
